Ungerleider/Zimbardo Travel Scholarship, A Graduate APF Scholarship

Each year, the American Psychological Association offers the Ungerleider/Zimbardo Travel Scholarship. This scholarship open to the U.S graduate psychology students who want to travel to APA Convention. This travel scholarship provides up to $300 per person. Application deadline is 1 April 2017.

Scholarship Description
The purpose of the Ungerleider/Zimbardo Travel Scholarships is to help psychology graduate students travel to the APA Annual Convention to present their research. Seven annual scholarships for graduate students will be awarded to support travel to the APA convention. These travel scholarships are administered by the APA Science Directorate . Regular procedures used by the Science Directorate for the APA Student Travel Awards will be followed.

Award Value
Each of the selected applicants may expect to receive up to $300.

Graduate program in psychology.

In the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time and be in good standing in a graduate program in psychology at a regionally accredited university or college located in the United States or Canada.
  • Applicants must be student affiliates or associate members of the American Psychological Association (graduate student affiliates are automatically members of APAGS).
  • Students who are not affiliates must apply for affiliation when submitting materials for the Travel Award.
  • APF encourages applications from individuals who represent diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability and sexual orientation.
