UCFB Undergraduate Scholarships & Bursaries for UK/EU Students

The UCFB College of Football Business Ltd. is glad to invite applications for a range of undergraduate scholarships and bursaries that exclusively open to UK and European Union students. To be eligible candidates should have on offer to study at the UCFB. The scholarship value is vary depending of the type of the award as described below.

General Requirements
In order to be eligible to apply for a scholarship or bursary, a student must:

  • Have already applied to UCFB and received an offer from UCFB; and
  • Have confirmed UCFB as their firm choice;
  • Due to the highly competitive nature of our scholarships and bursaries, applications from applicants who have not received and firmly accepted an offer from UCFB cannot be considered.

Scholarship Description

  • UCFB Wembley Means Tested Bursary. Students classified as Home status with a residual household income of up to £50,000 may apply for a UCFB Wembley means tested bursary.  Each bursary will be valued up to £3,500 and a limited number will be available.
  • UCFB Etihad Campus Means Tested Bursary. Students classified as Home status with a residual household income of up to £35,000 may apply for a UCFB Etihad Campus means tested bursary. Each bursary will be valued up to £2,000 and a limited number will be available.
  • Dr Brian Barwick Scholarship. This scholarship is open to an individual who can demonstrate that they have strived through adversity to achieve a goal, and that studying at UCFB will assist them in reaching it. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
  • Professor Philip Wilson Scholarship. This scholarship is open to a mature student (over 21 years of age) who has taken a break from education, and has now decided to return. The student must demonstrate that a UCFB degree will further their capabilities or forge a new career. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
  • Alastair Campbell Scholarship. This scholarship is open to an aspiring writer, broadcaster or journalist who can demonstrate that their choice of UCFB degree will benefit them in their career ambitions. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
  • Neil Doncaster Scholarship. This scholarship is open to a Scottish applicant with strong experience of playing or supporting football in Scotland. E.g. playing for local, semi-pro or professional teams or having work experience for local clubs. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
  • Martin Prothero Scholarship. This scholarship is open to an applicant applying for BA (Hons) Football Business & Marketing who can demonstrate a strong commitment to furthering a professional career in sports marketing. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
  • She Kicks Scholarship. This scholarship is open to two outstanding female applicants, based on their academic profile and extra-curricular activities. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
  • Women’s Super League Scholarship. This scholarship is open to: (1) An existing Women’s Super League player (2) A Woman’s Super League player who has retired, or plans to do so in the next 3 years. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
  • British Olympic Association Scholarship This scholarship is open to: (1) Athletes who are aged 18-21 & currently competing as part of Team GB (2) Athletes who are retired or retiring in the next 3 years. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees plus support for travel expenses to Olympic related activities (competitors only, at the discretion of UCFB).
  • Club Wembley Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any son or daughter of a Club Wembley member, or a member themselves that has a successful application to study at UCFB Wembley. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
  • Elite Athlete Scholarship. This scholarship is open to any applicant who has competed at senior national level in any sport. Value: £3,000 reduction in fees.
