Each year, applications for the Pancharatnam Fellowships are accepted. Eligible candidates should have completed at least one postdoctoral period after their doctorate. He or she will spend a three year research in the area that currently supported by Raman Research Institute. The winning fellows will receive up to Rs.55,000. There is no application deadline for this Pancharatnam Fellowships.
A limited number of Pancharatnam Fellowships are available at the Raman Research Institute for young researchers with a demonstrated ability to conduct original and independent work. This fellowship is for three years and is usually offered to applicants who have completed at least one postdoctoral period after their doctorate.
Each of the winning fellows will receive between Rs.50,000 and Rs.55,000, depending on their experience and their research project will be independently funded; support for research related travel is also provided. Provisions are made for accommodation and partial assistance with relocation.
