Every year, the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies provides a number of fully funded scholarship of Oxford Center for Islamic Studies scholarship in various subjects. Fulltime graduate students from traditional Islamic countries are the main target of this scholarship award. The successful applicants will receive full scholarships that include tuition fees and living expenses. Please send your completed application form due to 6 or 20 January 2017, depending on your course.
These scholarships have been established by the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies to allow graduates to pursue study of benefit to the Muslim world. The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies is a Recognized Independent Centre of the University of Oxford. It was established in 1985 to encourage the scholarly study of Islam and the Islamic world. The Centre provides a meeting point for the Western and Islamic worlds of learning. At Oxford, it contributes to the multi-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary study of the Islamic world. The scholarship will cover 100% of University and college fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £14,296).

Eligibility and Criteria
The following are the main criteria of this OCIS Scholarship.
- Ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom and from a Muslim community (with preference given to those from a financially disadvantaged household), or
- A national of one of the Islamic countries both in Africa and Asia
- Have commitment to return to home country upon the course.
