Applications for the Media Fellows Program are now being accepted. This program is open to those are enrolled at college or pursuing undergraduate degree. A number of awards are given on annual basis to the winning fellows. No application will be accepted after 14 July 2017.
With the Media Fellows Program, the Washington Media Scholars Foundation recognizes enthusiastic and qualified students by awarding several scholarships each academic year. The foundation distributed $50,000 in total scholarship awards. These grants support the academic development of undergraduates dedicated to pursuing a career related to the public policy advertising industry.

Eligibility and Criteria
- College juniors and seniors in good academic standing are invited to apply.
- Open to full-time undergraduate students whose major or minor prepares them for a career in strategic public policy advertising research, management, planning and buying. These include, but are not limited to, mass communications, journalism, marketing (business or mass communications), and political science.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their major concentration.
- High school students are not eligible to enter the Media Fellows Program.
