Larry R. Williams, PLLC Scholarship for Police Officers’ Children

Larry R. Williams, PLLC is glad to announce an essay based scholarship which is exclusively open to the children of police officers. All candidates must be students of college or university in the United States. Winner will be granted $2,000. No entries will be accepted after 1 May 2017.

Scholarship Description
At Larry R. Williams, PLLC we value the dedication and courage our local police officers display each and every day as they help maintain order in the community and ensure a safe environment for our children. To celebrate our pride in the police force of Nashville and throughout the country, we are offering a scholarship for children of police officers.

Award Value
Selected candidate will be granted $2,000.

Level and Area of Studies
College or university level in all subjects.

Place of Study
In the United States of America.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Be enrolled in a college, university, or technical school in the United States
  • Be over the age of 18
  • Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0

Applicants’ Nationality
The United States citizens are invited to apply.

To apply, write a 500+ word essay detailing how being the son or daughter of a police officer has influenced you as a college-bound student. There is no correct answer and creativity is encouraged.
