The New York Institute for the Humanities (NYIH) is delighted to invite applications for the Graduate Student Public Humanities Fellowship. Only the residents of New York State are invited to apply. He or she must be currently pursuing PhD degree in humanity studies. The winning students will receive stipend of $8,500. The application deadline is February 17, 2017.
New York Council for the Humanities (NYIH) in partnership with seven New York research universities is contented to declare Graduate Student Public Humanities Fellowship. If you are a resident of New York State, you are eligible to apply. Fellowship involves a combination of training in the methods and approaches of public scholarship.
The winning fellows may expect to receive the benefit of stipend of $8,000, $500 as travel and research stipend.

Eligibility and Criteria
- Applicants must be residents of New York State and enrolled as a graduate student in a humanities discipline
- Broadly defined, at one of these seven universities: The City University of New York Graduate Center, Columbia University, Cornell University, New York University, SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Stony Brook, or Syracuse University
- Must be second-year PhD candidate or above
Only the U.S citizens may apply this fellowship.
