Gary Brustin Scholarship for Law Students

Entries for the Gary Burstin Law Student Scholarship are now being accepted. This scholarship is exclusively open to U.S. citizens who are attending or will be attending law school in the United States. Winner will receive $1,000. The closing date of application is 1 March 2017.

Award Value
Once the winner of the award is chosen, a check for $1,000 will be made to the scholarship recipient’s law school of choice to help cover education expenses.

College or university level in law field.

Place of Study
At an accredited law school in the U.S.

Eligibility and Criteria

  • Law student planning on attending, accepted to attend, or currently attending an accredited law school in the U.S.
  • U.S. citizen 18 years or older
  • Applicants may not be current or past employees of The Law Offices of Gary Brustin or be directly related to a current employee at the firm.

Applicants’ Nationality
The United States citizens are welcome to apply.

Application Instruction
The application package must be consisting the materials as follow:

  • Completed scholarship application
  • 500 – 1250 word essay (essays over 1250 words will not be considered)
  • An acceptance letter from an accredited law school in the U.S. (new students) or an unofficial transcript from an accredited law school in the U.S. (current students)
  • Essays are welcome on any topic related to law or your personal passion for law.
    Some possible topics include:

    • What events in your life have motivated you to seek a law degree and/or a career in the law.
    • What area of law do you see yourself practicing upon graduation, and why (e.g. – criminal law, personal injury law, employment law).
    • Describe any adversity you’ve had to overcome to this point in your life and how it relates to your interest in the law.
