The the University of Edinburgh is delighted to invite applications for the David E I Pyott Foundation Scholarship on Clinical Ophthalmology. Eligible students should be the citizens of developing countries who have been accepted to participate in the online distance learning master of surgery (ChM) in Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Edinburgh. David E I Pyott Foundation provides tuition fee cost for six best applicants. The application deadline is 28 July 2017.
Six online distance learning master’s scholarships are available in the field of Ophthalmology for students from sub-Saharan Africa, South East Asia, and South America. Each scholarship will cover the tuition fee for the entire part-time programme of study as well as provide access to a broadband facility and a laptop.

Eligibility and Criteria
The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on to the online distance learning Master of Surgery (ChM) in Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Edinburgh. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so. Applicants should be advanced trainee ophthalmologists or independently practising ophthalmologists.

To apply for a scholarship you must first apply for admission at the University of Edinburgh. Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application by 29th July 2016. Please note that you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh and have full EASE authentication.
