The University of Auckland is delighted to invite applications for the Cecil Segedin Postgraduate Scholarships program. The award is available for any student pursuing postgraduate degree in the field of Engineering. Two awards will be given. Each of those valued up to $5,000.
The Scholarships were established in 2008 and are funded by the Segedin-Menzies Family Trust. The scholarships are in remembrance of Professor Cecil Segedin, who began teaching Engineering Mathematics at Ardmore in the 1950s and went on to establish the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (now Engineering Science) in 1963. The main purpose of the scholarships is to assist and encourage students undertaking postgraduate study in Engineering Science.

The basis of selection will be academic achievement, contribution to University and community activities, potential to contribute to the engineering industry and financial need.
