The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander are exclusively invited to apply this Australian Indigenous Scholarships. To be eligible, he or she must be pursuing master or doctoral by research degree in cardiovascular field. Those are selected will receive up to $40,000 pro rata per annum. To apply, the completed application form must be submitted no later than 23 June 2017.
The Australian Indigenous Scholarship is designed to encourage and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to undertake a PhD or Masters (by research) in cardiovascular research. The Heart Foundation believes that strengthening the research capacity and workforce in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cardiovascular research will, in turn, have a broader impact on the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Value and Tenure
The scholarship recipients will be granted stipend of $40,000 pro rata per annum. The award is tenable for 2 years for master program and 3 years for PhD program.

Master and doctoral degree in Cardiovascular studies.
Place of Study
The study can be taken in Australia.
Eligibility and Criteria
The main requirement of this scholarship is that the candidates must be identified Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Only Australian students are welcome to apply.
