Westpac Bicentennial Foundation along with Australian National University is delighted to offer the Asian Exchange Scholarship for 2016 entry. To be eligible, the applicants should be an Australian or permanent residents and currently pursuing undergraduate degree at ANU. The selected applicants are expected to spend one semester in a well-known Asian institutions doing academical activities. Up to $10,000 will be awarded to the scholarship recipient each.
This scholarship was established by the Westpac Bicentennial Foundation as part of Westpac’s 200th anniversary celebrations, which will be officially commemorated in 2017. The scholarship is awarded by the Westpac Bicentennial Foundation to undergraduate students who are undertaking one semester of overseas study at a leading Asian University. This is an experiential program, with the opportunity to ‘pitch your own adventure’ by building in activities to enhance the exchange experience outside the classroom, such as an internship, work experience, volunteering or an intensive language course.
The successful applicants will receive benefits of $10,000 per year.

Undergraduate level any field of studies.

At one of these university: Tsinghua University, Beijing Peking University, Beijing University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Fudan University, Shanghai Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai National University of Singapore, Singapore Nanyang Technological University.
Eligibility and Criteria
To be eligible, all candidates are expected to meet all of the criteria as follow:
- an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- enrolled in second year or beyond at a participating university
- intending to do a semester-long exchange.
Only Australian students may apply this scholarship.
